Un día con los Badui, Orang Kanekes. The Badui, Cultural Survival
Los Badui están al cargo de cumplir un mandato:
Mantener la armonía del universo, de ello depende la protección y continuación de su cultura.
Su territorio es sagrado, montañoso y agreste.
Una vida en armonía con el entorno sin interferencias ni comunicación con el mundo exterior.
Nos presentamos en territorio Badui, con nuestro amigo Sam al cargo de introducirnos en territorio Kanekes.
Animistas, los Badui se niegan a ser islamizados como el resto de indonesia, y rechazan la intromisión foránea.
Sam consiguió que el jefe de un pueblo nos introdujera en el territorio, permitiéndonos instalar nuestro básico campamento en la terraza de su casa.
Así el vecindario nos aceptó por un día como parte del decorado.
Los Badui blancos son santos, mantienen la pureza de sus secretas tradiciones y nunca entran en contacto con forasteros.
